Food for 170 rescued cats at Love n Care for Animals shelter.

Love n Care for Animals maintains cat shelter of 170 cats. The shelter consisted three small buildings and a considerable amount of free space for the cats to roam around freely.

Cats are not like dogs. Both cats and dogs are domesticated. But people think dogs as their friend. On the other hand, cats are not very popular as friend. In most of the cases they are unwanted. This is why the organization maintains a very big cat shelter. Already it had near about 90 cats in their cat shelter. All of them were abandoned at kitten stage and they grew up at the organization's shelter.

Again, the organization had to rescue 82 cats from Alipore Correctional Home, West Bengal. This correctional home has been shifted to Baruipur in the month of February 19. There were 2000 inmates who used to feed near about 300 cats within the jail premises. After the inmates were shifted, the cats were compelled to starve as they do not know the outside world. 200 cats died within one month. And finally, the organization had to rescue the rest 82 cats.

Now the shelter has near about 170 cats . The price of fish and meat per month jumped to Rs. 70,000/-. So donation is needed for this project.
