Story of the campaigner
LAFA erode is an animal welfare organization initiated by many school and college students in Erode. We all were able to do this because of the love we had for animals.After a few months we were to find another team with some motive who were doing a lot of adoptions and rehoming and we both have collaborated for helping the strays.
We're currently feeding around 100 dogs in Erode, Tamilnadu regularly. (We feed them rice with curd or drools sometimes)We're rescuing a lot of stray puppies and giving them for adoption. All these rescued strays will be given for adoption after a complete medical checkup through a vet by their foster parents.
We will also be following up these dogs until they get sterilized. We provide sterilization support as well.We're also taking care of a shelter with 25+ dogs.We also help in rehoming of pets. We initiated this program since we came across a lot of abandoned dogs. All these rehomed dogs will be given behavioral training for free(if needed).
Love is all that the strays hope for and We're here asking for your love to the strays. Dogs are always beautiful outside and inside and that beauty doesn't include the place where it lives. Strays are starving for food during this lockdown since their main source of food was waste from restaurants and hotels.
A lot of dogs have died especially during this pandemic and they need our support.
We're feeding almost 100+ strays in Erode even during this Pandemic. There are also other dogs in our shelter who are starving as well. We put in our maximum efforts to help them and we are in need of some hands to lift this situation of the strays.
We're also doing a lot of adoptions and rehoming ,in this case we've always used sterilization as a best option to better the lives of the dogs as well as an assurance that the adopted dog wouldn't be misused for breeding.
A lot of poor people who are crazily in love with dogs are ready to adopt our strays( the rescued strays as well)but they aren't able to afford the sterilization cost of the dogs as well as the medical expenses of rescued dogs and we feel the need to support them as well for the our strays to experience wholesome of love for their lifetime. Also love always doesn't come with money.
