Jidnyasa is an NGO founded in 2016 by Deepali Patil with the purpose of ''To Promote Safe and Healthy Childhood (Development) through comprehensive family and community initiatives''. We have been working for disadvantaged populations in the rural areas of Kolhapur district through our programmes.

In rural Western Maharashtra involves labourers moving between home and sugarcane fields, brick kilns, mines and stone quarries or at the construction sites they come with their children in the workplace.  Issues like Most of the Children are not going to the school. They are wandering here and there. They don’t have good access to water facilities, safe hygienic conditions, healthy food, Learning Environment. The objectives of the programme are to provide early childhood education programmes through establishing a learning centre, Balbhavan, Mobile van, nutritional support. The outcomes are expected to increase the interest in learning activity, and improve parent’s participation in children’s education.

We will achieve this by providing a structured education centre where learning fun activities will include, also we will provide a mobile van which includes various resources like digital learning material through pictorial books, computer, learning toys. With Health interventions children become healthy fit for their daily activities.   We will see measurable success through this pilot programme

Objectives :

To improve the quality of pre-primary and primary education by collaborating with government and private school.

To improve the health, hygiene and sanitation system through community aware[1]ness and participation

To provide counselling facilities to the adolescent to disseminate the confusion about adolescent age changes among adolescent groups .

To create an awareness about child Rights include

To give proper health education about menstruation hygiene management among girls and women

To establish good practices about hand washing activity among rural and marginalized children.
