Donate food and medicines for the stranded animals in flood affected Vadodara

Flash floods in Vadodara and nearby villages has caused life to come to a standstill. Due to heavy rains, this area got heavily inundated, displacing thousands of people and animals. Humane Society of India (HSI) is organising an animal rescue and relief campaign to save the animals in the flood affected area, and they need your help. 

Disaster affects animals as badly as it affects people. The stranded animals are starving, and in need of medical attention. Moreover, following the calamity is a threat of disease outbreak which can potentially kill thousands of innocent animals. These voiceless creatures need your support in order to stay alive. 

Due to the flash floods following heavy downpour, most animals in the area are trying to swim to the safety of higher ground. Alarming water levels cause some of these animals to drown. The ones who find safety, are also at the risk of losing their lives to starvation. HSI aims to provide food, and immediate medical attention to these stranded furries. But the NGO is short on funds to carry out this huge task on its own.
