Help Hakhoo Street Animals Foundation Trust To Touch The Lives Of Street Animals And Serve Them With Hope, Healing And Recovery

My name is Namrata Hakhoo, 40 year old Migrant Kashmiri Pandit, single woman, living with my senior citizen parents in Jammu, J&K UT, since the year 1989. I am Founder of Hakhoo Street Animals Foundation Trust. Since 1993 we have been taking care of street animals. In the year 2018 we got our Foundation Trust registered with Hon'ble High Court Jammu. Currently we are living with 500 rescued street animals & birds, all are living inside our home. Being a Migrant Kashmiri Pandit we are totally dependent on Government sanctioned monthly migrant relief which is Rs.9750/- only. 

So far we have sold everything we had, we don't have any income resource. We want to do more for animals living with us and on the street but financial crises are giving us a tough & rough time. It's my folded request to you to please help us. We need money for food, treatment, medicines and surgeries for rescued street animals. We have to pay a debt of Rs.10 lacs which is pending since the year 2018. We have to construct a concrete 300 kennels rehabilitation shelter for street animals living with us. Without your support we can't do that. Please help us, so that more & more street animals get timely treatment, surgeries, shelter & food.

400 rescued street animals are on the verge of starvation, help Hakhoo Street Animals Foundation Trust Jammu.450 rescued street animals living with us inside our home. We have to construct 300 Concrete Kennels for them. Currently we are getting street dogs operated for animal birth control from a private veterinary clinic, both spaying and neutering is done through procedure. Per dog operation fees is Rs 5000. Since 1993, 260 street dogs have been operated by our Foundation that too from our own savings. We are targeting 1000 street dogs to be operated to control the dog population and to stop cruelty against street dogs in Jammu. We need rigorous support from everyone.

These animals trusted & now are solely depended on HAKHOO STREET ANIMALS FOUNDATION TRUST for their well being. And HAKHOO STREET ANIMALS FOUNDATION TRUST is working hard to live up to their expectation & because of HAKHOO STREET ANIMALS FOUNDATION TRUST these animals are lucky to survive, they joyfully play & sleep, and all are safe & comfortable. We have dedicated our life towards animal welfare and have given up on the luxuries of life. We are working for welfare of animals from our own pocket and daily we spend a huge amount on food, health, treatments, transport & housing of rescued animals. We always think that someone should do something about these animals but what we forget to realize is that we ourselves are that someone.

It's not an opportunity most people get very often but when one of our street animals gets ill or needs home or gets injured and we don’t have money to treat them, where do we turn for help? We turn to one of the animal shelters for help & its also a proven fact that no shelter can run without resources and same is the case with HAKHOO STREET ANIMALS FOUNDATION TRUST, who are struggling everyday to meet the needs of the VOICELESS.'HAKHOO STREET ANIMALS FOUNDATION' IS A SAFE HOME. A SAFE HOME WITH BIG LOVE. Hakhoo Ghar started with 2 pet dogs “Bravo & Benze" in the year 1993 by Ma Urmila Hakhoo & now home to more than 450 rescued animals which include 1 male calf who was abandoned when he was just 22 days old, rescued paralyzed pups & dogs, rescued accidental pups & dogs with amputated limbs, abandoned old & sick breed dogs, 3 legged male pig, rescued sheep, 1 legged eagle victim of electrocution was rescued, rescued cats, birds, young sick female monkey was rescued, few days old baby male monkey with fractured right arm was rescued, 2 male chickens who were once those colored chick babies, rescued 20 days old piglet, rescued baby owls, rescued pet dogs from euthanasia as their owners wanted to kill them due to their health condition, and many more, everyone currently enjoying personal attention & care. Whether its injured/abused/rescued/abandoned animal and pups who are too small, having chronic health issues, having permanent injuries & some who came from a life of unimaginable pain, suffering, abuse & neglect.
