MAMTA - "An initiative for less privileged pregnant women. "

The Hope Begins Foundation was started in 2017 and created a big impact on society in a very short time. The Hope Begins Foundation was also noticed by big brands and renowned personalities who appreciated their work.  The foundation was started by two friends, Pranav Mishra and Shoaib Ali, with its head office in Delhi, NCR, and volunteers across the country. Their other projects include "Let's End Hunger Together", "NEEV: Education for Girls and Sports for Differently Abled, financial support during medical emergencies, "Each One Plant One," and supporting the education of underprivileged children. 

In India, every 8 minutes, a woman dies during pregnancy and childbirth. Sadly, these deaths are largely preventable, as they are mainly due to poor nutrition and a lack of access to health services. So pregnant women who have limited financial resources are deprived of basic things such as medicine, a proper diet, basic tests, and many more. Only a strong immune system will help them prepare to fight any disease. Good nutrition and healthy food intake during this period are critical for expecting mothers. Eating foods rich in fiber, iron, calcium, etc can reduce the risk of congenital disease and nutritional deficiencies in newborns and mothers. The Hope Begins Foundation is working towards addressing these basic issues. Food kits will be distributed to nourish pregnant women; every kit will ensure a boost in the immunity of pregnant mothers and child health. This is just a start.

About the NGO: Hope Begins Foundation is a non-profit organization empowering differently-abled people. We are working towards using sports as a channel to bring positive change and joy into the lives of differently-abled people in India. There are over a million people suffering from some kind of disability in our nation, and our mission is to help them live their lives with the sportsman’s spirit. They had great potential, but they needed an opportunity, or rather, a platform, to prove themselves, especially in the field of sports. Hence we organized cricket tournaments and various other sports for those differently-abled. We even organize other creative events like arts and crafts, poetry, etc.
