When you think of animal rescue in Bangalore, the one name that instantly comes to mind is Girish sir. Even during pandemic era, Girish sir & his wonderful team have been rescuing dogs day and night without any compromise. His team has been rescuing at least 2 to 5 dogs on a daily basis.
His shelter has around 310 beautiful canine residents, who are either abandoned, critically injured, paralyzed or suffering from Parvo, CD, etc. Many of these cuties are old/abandoned by owners, diseased , attacked or challenged in some way.
We would like to thank all the people who have contributed to our cause so far and would like to thank in advance who are about to make a contribution. If possible please help out on a monthly basis.

2. Over 310 rescued dogs are being taken care of at our shelter home currently. They mostly consist of old diseased/Abandoned Dogs. Many of the dogs were met with accident and not in a condition to move around. In some cases we had to relocate their young pups to our shelter as well
3. Prior to the lockdown, we has 180 dogs which rose to 310 in past couple of months. The donations were made by friends, family and many kind FB friends. During and after pandemic many ppl were not able to donate as much as before , also the expenses have increased tremendously due to increase in permanent residents and increase in rescues.
4. We have provided medical treatments to hundreds of wounded animals and we continue to do so as we come across the needy.
5. Many people adopt from our shelter as well
NGO have continued feeding and taking care of stray animals during the lockdown. We are trying to reach out to as many Injured/ Diseased strays and abandoned pets as possible every day.
Please do come forward and help this most noble of causes reach out to more animals in need. God bless you!
