Perform Annadaan For Pilgrims at Prayagraj During The Maagh Maas Mela
Project
Every year during Maagh Maas, Prayagraj becomes one of the largest spiritual gatherings in the world. In 2026, the Maagh Maas Mela will be observed from January 3 to February 15, drawing millions of pilgrims to the sacred ghats for holy baths, fasting, and prayer. They travel long distances, brave the winter cold, and stand for hours, driven purely by faith.
For many, this journey carries deep personal meaning. Pilgrims arrive with prayers, hopes, and lifelong vows, leaving behind comfort and security to take part in this sacred month.
But hunger becomes an unavoidable challenge.
Faith Is Strong, But The Body Needs Strength
Days of travel, massive crowds, and limited access to food leave countless pilgrims exhausted. Elderly devotees, sadhus, and families often go without proper meals. Many arrive with just enough money to complete the pilgrimage, unsure of where their next meal will come from.
Still, they continue. Through fatigue, cold nights, and overwhelming crowds, their devotion does not weaken. For them, Maagh Maas is not just a gathering. It is an act of faith.
A Simple Meal Can Make All The Difference
A warm, nourishing meal can restore strength to a tired pilgrim. It can help an elderly devotee sit safely by the ghat without collapsing from hunger. It can give sadhus and daily wage pilgrims the energy they need to continue their prayers.
During Maagh Maas, Pure Devotion Foundation is preparing to serve free meals and essential support to lakhs of pilgrims every single day. From those who have been walking for days to those who have nowhere else to eat, this effort ensures that devotion is not weakened by hunger.
But they cannot do this alone.

For example: if you made donations between April 2025 and March 2026 (FY 2025-26), you will get your 10BE by 31st May 2026, provided you need to claim the 80G for these donations.
Please note that you cannot claim 80G for donations made between April 2024 and March 2025 (FY 2024-25) anymore as the window for claiming it has closed. However, you can still get the 10BEs for that year if you made 80G claims on or before 31st July 2025.
