Southern-Western Monsoon has affected Kerala so vigorously that from the last 50 years it is the worst flood ever. 75 plus people have lost their life. Whole Kerala is reeling under the water, more than 24 dams across the state have released to drain the excess amount of water. The rains and floods have deadened the daily routine of millions of people.
Each hour lacs of individuals are affected and thousands of people have already lost their home. Rise in flood waters in Periyar River which lead to open all the shutters of all major dams including Mullaperiyar, Cheruthoni, part of Idukki reservoir, and Idamalayar, have severely affected lives of people in downstream areas.
Child Help Foundation is taking an initiative by providing food and basic necessity assistance to the affected people. We understand that you cannot light up the whole state but, your little contribution will surely light up the life of a person who is suffering.
