Join Hands with Aarambh Palliative Rare Condition Care Centre to make rare condition patient’s Life little easier.

Aarambh Palliative Rare Condition Care Centre (APCCC) is one of the two projects initiated by Swami Vivekanand Vidya Pratishthan. Aiming at providing correct guidance to the rare condition patients, APCCC has been working to provide the utmost medical help along with the moral support to the needy Rare Condition patients, to boost their willpower to sustain and fight against CANCER. Our organization takes efforts to make the final days of the patients, painless, satisfactory, and happy. Snehalaya, Ahmednagar has been gratefully helping us, by providing wards equipped with five beds, for rare condition patients in their Kedgaon centre.

This project is for patients suffering from rare condition. This project started by Secretary of Organisation as he came across some of the rare condition patients in his family and he got disturbed by looking at them and how patients were treated. Due to lack of awareness and due to lack of medical facilities those rare condition patients were suffering from pain. Then our Secretary decided to help them and help other rare condition patients around him.

We are proud that we have served 35 rare condition patients in our kedgoan, Ahmednagar centre till date and hope we will continue to do so. We have helped more than 500 rare condition patient by our home visits and we have educated more than 20,000 students/rural residents about rare condition and its prevention.

Unfortunately to do all these activities it requires huge fund. Hence we are looking for some new ways to help rare condition patients.

About the NGO: 

Aarambh Palliative rare condition care centre was started on June 5, 2017 in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra under the organization Swami Vivekanand Vidya Pratishthan. The Foundation creates awareness on the prevention, management, and reference for treatment of rare condition in Ahmednagar.

The Aarambh stands for people affected by Rare Condition. Our objective is to support rare condition patients, by providing home-based care to those patients who find it difficult to come to the hospital for treatment. Most of the times Home based care is also supported with counselling for the patients and their families.

Home based care is the lifeline of many patients because not all the patients are able to make it to the hospital because of advancement of disease, long distance and also lack of resources to support the treatment. We reach out to Rare Condition patients across Ahmednagar, irrespective of colour, caste, creed, religion or class. For those families whose breadwinners are affected by Rare Condition, we try to minimise the disruptions to support them with government scheme or raise fund for them to meet their daily life. We work to see each Rare Condition patient and their family overcome the trauma of Rare Condition and stand up for life.
