Project

Amma Orphan Old-Age Home, known as "Amma Anadha Sharanalayam" is a non-profit organization Founded by Mr. E. Teja with the objective to provide a shelter to orphans and senior citizens. The aim is to provide the children with quality school education, a healthy homely atmosphere, and giving abandoned senior citizens a home and comfort during their last years. And we need your help with the same. Running an old age home is a huge task, since responsibility for the wellbeing of the elders - both physical and mental, rests on us. We try to do our best when it comes to taking care of our 26 seniors who have nowhere else to go, and no one else to turn to. Senior citizens are often left to fend for themselves as they are considered a burden by their family. We want to give them a safe and secure place to live.

The motto of promoting "Universal Brotherhood" encourages us in working towards creating wellness in physical, mental and spiritual areas for everyone under our care. Amma Orphanage provides a family environment for the seniors.

Life for many senior citizens is about surviving the day, but we believe they deserve more. Our focus is on providing a homely environment where they don’t have to worry about their basic needs and are taken care of with love.

While we try our best to make sure these elders get everything they need, it becomes challenging to do that on our own due to financial constraints. Sometimes, affording the basic supplies needed to give them a decent life becomes difficult. We don’t want to deprive these seniors of the love and care that they deserve. That’s why we need your help to provide them nutritious food. We request you to please help us get grocery kits for these elders. Your kind support will help us bring about a great change in their lives.
